What we do...
Here at A MINIATURE HAVEN.COM all the crafting is done by me, Robert W Haven, in my Lexington Ky studio. I have been building miniatures off and on since 1982 or there abouts. One of my favorite things to do is find unusual containers and turn them into miniature rooms. The Horses and Houds room box above began life as a jewelry box with solid doors into which I fit windows. The candle lantern above is one of mny that have been turned into miniature conservtories. The Holiday Gazebo complete with light up tree was completely hand crafted using the same techniqus and materials I use to create wicker furniture. In the off season it doubles as a town bandstand et for a 4th of July concert.
I have only recently begun to sell my work at area miniature shows but may be expanding my options as time goes on. I am also available for short workshops/ masterclasses in some of the techniques that I use to create my wicker pieces, folding screens and other items as well. Likewise an illustrated lexture "My Life in 1/12 Scale" and what I have made along the way is also a possibility.
As a life long educator I am eager to share my enthusiasm for the highly specialized passion for all things miniature.

I regularly have various lantern conservatories and reinvented room boxes for sale only at miniature shows because they are too difficult to ship.
